DESCRIPTION:Open Streets ICT – Douglas St.Sunday\, October 13th\, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PMDouglas Ave. from Bluff St. to N. Glenn  \nVolunteer here! \nJoin in the fun to represent Unity of Wichita at Open Streets ICT!We will have a sun-shade booth set up with games\, Unity materials\, and other activities for Wichitiains to enjoy! This is a great way to meet our community\, and to make lasting impressions!  \nGet ready to experience Open Streets ICT this fall\, a FREE community-building event along Douglas Avenue in Wichita\, KS! Enjoy a full day of physical activity\, delicious food trucks\, live music\, and fun for all ages. \nWe will be closing 4.1 miles of Douglas Avenue to traffic\, from College Hill at Bluff St. to Glenn St. in the historic Delano District\, and opening the street for biking\, walking\, running\, and more! Cruise along the 4.1-mile stretch and explore participating shops\, businesses\, and a variety of food vendors along the route. \nEnjoy a day of biking\, fun physical activities\, music\, dancing\, and much more! All Wichitans are invited to get active and socialize at the five major activity hubs situated every mile along the four-mile stretch. Open Streets ICT brings Wichitans of all ages together for an active\, fun\, community building afternoon in Wichita’s historic Deland District all the way down to College Hill area. \nVisitors will be able to cruise along Douglas Avenue on bikes\, skateboards\, or walk and stop at five activity hubs\, shop businesses on the route\, and visit food and street vendors while listening to music. Please remember no motorized vehicles of any kind are allowed.  \nHubs will be located at West Douglas\, Kennedy Plaza\, Naftzger Park\, East High School\, and College Hill. \nPets are welcome! \nQuestions?
