Wonder!

The word, WONDER, is both a noun and a verb. It is something that shifts as we use it. Much like our lives, we experience so many shifts and changes. WONDER is a feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, brought about by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable. We may experience this feeling when we visit a new landscape, when we observe dynamic art that ignites our imagination. We may experience this upon seeing the beauty of a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Perhaps when we feel the quality of WONDER as we meet our tribe over the course of our lives. Now, the activity of WONDER, that is curiosity, amazement, the powerful process of exploring a doubt or fear… One often thinks, “I WONDER…”

Mahatma Gandhi is quoted to have said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” I WONDER, what would that be for you? When you observe the world around you or even observe the world within you, what is it that fills you with WONDER?

Charles Fillmore, the co-founder of the Unity Movement, stated “The highest …work of imagination is the marvelous transformation … in character. Imagine that you are one with the principle of good, and you become truly good.”

You are invited to allow yourself to be filled with WONDER as you ponder, “I WONDER how Oneness in Spirit feels today?” Take this opportunity to explore and begin a new adventure in consciousness. Perhaps you will even experience WONDER as Gandhi did while admiring the sunset or the beauty of the moon. He stated his soul expands in the worship of the Creator. How will your soul expand today?
