Silent Unity

At Unity of Wichita and within the Unity Movement, prayer is a pathway to conscious connection with the Principle that is God. Charles Fillmore, co-founder of the Unity Movement, states that “Prayer is the most highly accelerated mind-action known.” This action of communing with the Divine Mind and realizing ever more closely the Oneness we share with God is powerful through prayer.

Unity of Wichita hosts a Prayer Circle, individuals trained to hold sacred space, lovingly listen, pray, and hold in confidence all that is shared.

As Jesus taught us to believe our prayers have already been answered as in Mark 11 we practice affirmative prayer. That is we affirm the truth within. As you complete a prayer request, please indicate the truth for which you are requesting prayer. Our prayer circle will hold these requests in sacred space for 3o days then we will forward your request to Silent Unity where they will be held in prayer for an additional 30 days.
